Michigan State basketball fans will have to wait a little bit longer to watch the Spartans in Maui. The Michigan State-Colorado Maui Invitational first-round matchup will tipoff approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the Memphis-UConn game.

Michigan State basketball will face Colorado in its return to the Maui Invitational for the sixth time, with the last appearance coming in 2019.

This will be the fifth time the Spartans have competed in the Hawaii showcase, and their first trip to Maui since 2019. MSU won it all in its first trip to the event in 1991, while Tom Izzo made his head coaching debut with the Spartans in 1995. The Buffaloes have only been in Maui once before, that coming in 2009 when they finished seventh.

The Spartans will face a Colorado lineup that averages 6-foot-7 and 200 pounds, putting a lot of emphasis on their own bigs.
