Earlier on Monday, Penn State popped up in the Associated Press Poll for the second straight week. The Lions received one vote, from Mitchell Northam, who placed them 17th. That gave Penn State nine points, good for the de facto 40th rank in the country. Last week’s AP vote was the first one for the Lions in two years.

Penn State men’s basketball team continued its dominant start to the 2024-25 basketball season, clinching its first 6-0 season in 25 years with an 85-66 win against the Fordham Rams Monday afternoon.
