Each network has given out their own postgame awards for the Thanksgiving Day games including CBS’s “Turkey Leg Award” and “All-Iron Award,” Fox’s “Galloping Gobbler,” NFL Network’s “Pudding Pie,” and NBC’s un-creative “Player of the Game” award. Emmitt Smith holds the record for most Thanksgiving awards with five.

Thanksgiving NFL games are back in 2024, and for the 19th year in a row, three games will be played on the national holiday. For the 59th year in a row, the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys will each play in one of them.
