UConn men's basketball will try to bounce back from first-round, overtime loss in a loser's bracket bout vs. Colorado: 'Who's going to be angrier?'

The 4-0 Colorado men's basketball team will get its first taste of high-level competition this week in the Maui Invitational. The Buffs will open the early-season tournament on Monday against the 4-1

This will be the fifth time the Spartans have competed in the Hawaii showcase, and their first trip to Maui since 2019. MSU won it all in its first trip to the event in 1991, while Tom Izzo made his head coaching debut with the Spartans in 1995. The Buffaloes have only been in Maui once before, that coming in 2009 when they finished seventh.
